Robin Chodak

Robin Chodak's life seemed meaningless after she lost her former husband to suicide in 2005.  She was the one to find him dead in the basement from multiple gunshot wounds to his head.  She immediately fell into a state of shock and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder.

On that tragic day, everything changed in one instant.  Doing a job as a systems analyst was impossible and she became depressed and contemplated taking her own life.  But there was supernatural energy that kept her from it.  And that is what led her to seek help.  Even in the midst of grief, there was a source within her that wanted to survive and thrive and live a purposeful life.

It was then that she began my journey of self-discovery and had a personal awakening.  She pushed out old beliefs and allowed new ones to flow in.  Her thoughts began to change and I asked God, a higher power, to direct and guide her.  She realized that there was good in the universe for all and she had a right to it.

This new thought brought meaning into her life.  She no longer viewed it as over, instead, she saw it as an opportunity to transform.  She was given another chance to create the life she wanted.  It started with learning to enjoy the present moment.  In doing this she created a new identity and began to do things she loved.

She found Argentine tango dancing which led her to find her current husband.  They both have a passion for it. She feels truly blessed to discover that happiness is a gift available to all.  The only thing you need to do is accept it and then good things will begin to enter your life.

Her journey has led me to write self-help books and become a transformational teacher and speaker in order to help others see that their life also can be good after a loss.

It’s not the end—it’s the beginning.

Note: Today, her life is once again filled with grief. Her husband Gerry died unexpectedly in their home from an aneurysm on 9/28/19. It was another shock experience. Now, she must put into practice all that she has learned and currently teach as she grieves the loss of another soul partner. Her belief that Gerry is well and united with Steve and others in the nonphysical brings her comfort. She also knows that there is good awaiting her!
