Dr. Chadwick Prodromos


Dr. Prodromos is a native of Chicago.  He received his AB degree from Princeton, his MD from the Johns Hopkins Medical School, served a surgical internship at the University of Chicago, his orthopaedic surgery residency at Rush and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sportsmedicine at the Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.  He was a pioneer in surgery of the ACL and served as editor in chief of the first and only comprehensive textbook on the ACL for orthopaedic surgeons.  He served as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for 27 years at Rush before stepping back to focus on his non-profit research foundation and regenerative medicine.   He is currently medical director of the foundation for orthopaedics and regenerative medicine and the Prodromos Stem Cell Institute.  He is first author of numerous medical journal publications.
