Tina Juliette Garcia

Tina Juliette Garcia is a Lyme disease patient advocate who founded a non-profit called Lyme Education Awareness Program, also known as L.E.A.P. In 2009 at a legal hearing, Tina had the honor to be selected by former Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and the Infectious Diseases Society of America to testify on behalf of the worldwide Lyme patient community.

Several years ago, in an effort to regain lost cognitive function caused by Lyme disease infection, Tina began writing articles for the Public Health Alert, a popular online newspaper that focuses on chronic dis-ease. Now she has just published her first book entitled Kaleidoscope of Hope, An Inspirational Guide for Those With Chronic Illness.

In Kaleidoscope of Hope, which you can find at Amazon, Lulu.com and her website kaleidoscopehealth.net, Tina relays the difficulties she encountered with obtaining treatment while she was so ill. The tremendous suffering she experienced for several years eventually led her down an inspirational path wherein she learned to transform her perspective and re-discover her hidden potential. Tina shares in her book the wisdom and blessings she discovered on her Journey with the hope and intent that the book will inspire other patients to transform a difficult journey with illness into a Journey of Hope and Inspiration.
