Shoshanna Katzman M.S.


Shoshanna Katzman, M.S., L.Ac. has been Director of the Red Bank Acupuncture and Wellness Center in Shrewsbury, New Jersey since 1988. As a practitioner in the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for 40 years, she is an Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, Tai Chi and Qigong Professional and Energy Medicine Specialist.

She shares her knowledge of Oriental and holistic medicine both nationally and internationally as author of “Qigong for Staying Young: A Simple 20 Minute Workout to Cultivate Your Vital Energy” and co-author of “Feeling Light-The Holistic Solution to Permanent Weight Loss and Wellness.”

Shoshanna has national certification through the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and state licenses to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and California. With two Master Degrees, one in acupuncture and the other in sports medicine, combined with master level training in energy medicine – Shoshanna is well trained, offering expert and professional care and teaching.

As present chairperson of the New Jersey State Acupuncture Board, her expertise is applied to ensure consumer safety as a board member since 1998. Shoshanna is also current chairperson of the National Qigong Association Advisory Council, for which she was the first woman president in 2004.

As co-founder and organizer of Eight Annual Woman’s Wellness Conferences in New Jersey, Shoshanna helped thousands of women learn how to integrate both holistic and Western medicine into their lives – featuring keynote speakers such as Carolyn Myss, Ph.D., Christiane Northrup, M.D. Coretta Scott King, and Richard Simmons.

As an inspirational educator herself, Shoshanna lectures at a host of public forums and has been featured on numerous television and radio shows as well as print media regionally and throughout the United States.
