Sharon Parker


The author of SELLING WITH SOUL Version 2.0: Achieving Career Success without Sacrificing Personal and Spiritual Growth, Sharon Parker successfully sold high-tech products and services for 25 years. Hoping to smash negative stereotypes of sales people and show that sales is an honorable profession, Parker wrote this Editors Choice and Rising Star award winning book.


A public speaker and trainer of hundreds of sales people, she donates profits from Selling with Soul to educational scholarships for minority students. In 2004, she launched The Sparker Company, a resource offering coaching and professional training.


Selected as a 2012 Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, she joined the CustomerCentric Selling team in 2004 and has taught this process for growing sales revenue by showing sales professionals how to do it right by understanding the customer's goals, needs, and wants in order to develop a business relationship based on mutual benefit.


A member in the American Society of Training and Development, Parker is a Principle Consultant with StoryLeaders LLC, a training program that helps sales people make a human connection with their prospective buyer by using the most current brain science and the power of story.


Her professional selling and sales management career includes field sales, marketing, and global sales manager positions at Motorola, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Rockwell Automation.


Parker holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University and has taught graduate school courses in marketing, sales and marketing management, and managing cultural diversity. She has been featured in Selling Power Magazine, Electrical Wholesaling, Assembly, Writers' Digest, Elephant Journal and on Selling Power Live. She resides in Portland, Oregon.
