Kim Bright

Kim Bright is a pioneer in the nutrition industry and an expert in health and wellness. She has been featured on nationally syndicated, and local, radio and television shows since the 1980's, educating people on how to optimize their health. Kim has personally consulted over 15,000 people and has lectured groups all over the U.S.A.

Having studied with many well-known health experts and industry legends, Kim also attended and taught at The Kushi Institute in Massachusetts.

Kim established a health center in Connecticut, where she consulted and taught healthy lifestyle courses along with various health experts from all over the world.

She opened A Change Of Season's Restaurant in Westport, Connecticut in 1985. It was the first non-smoking restaurant in Connecticut. Kim, as chef and owner, used locally sourced, in-season organic food, long before it became the “in” thing to do. She changed her menu and decor every season, all five (don’t forget the Indian summer!). She served no processed foods, red meat or alcohol. Her menu had fresh fish, organic chicken, fresh daily made organic soups, salads, juices, breads, cookies, (some gluten free) desserts, macrobiotic foods, vegetarian and vegan foods.

Kim has three children and six grandchildren. She is the Founder of Brightcore Nutrition, now in it's 27th year.
