Gilbert S Mane

Gilbert S Mane is a writer of complex historical thrillers. He was born and educated in Sydney, and became a solicitor in 1980.

After about a decade in the law he jumped at the offer of becoming Headmaster of John Colet School in Sydney’s north. At the time the school had about 30 students. His brief was to grow the school in accordance with its founding principles to give the children the best on every level.

He retired as Headmaster in 2015 after twenty-six years. John Colet School was ranked, at the time as 7th out about 7,200 primary schools in Australia. And it is ranked even higher among those schools with no entrance requirements.

He loved teaching children, and he now enjoys writing novels, and public speaking, and ballroom dancing. He lives happily in Castlecrag with his wife Sarah.
