Dr. Robert Hauser


Robert Hauser, MD, MBA, is Professor of Neurology, Molecular Pharmacology, and Director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center, a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, at the University of South Florida. Dr. Hauser is a board-certified neurologist specializing in evaluation and care of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, including tremor and dystonia. He also performs injections of botulinum toxin for patients with cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, and hemifacial spasm. Dr. Hauser’s research focuses on the development of new treatments for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Dr. Hauser is Past Chairman of the Interventional Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology, a past member of the executive committee of the Parkinson Study Group and is a member of the steering committee, NIH Exploratory Trials in Parkinson’s disease. He has authored or co-authored over 300 publications.
