Dr. Charles Michael Coleman


Dr. Charles Michael Coleman began his educational journey with a Bachelor of Political Science from Western Illinois University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University (TWU). While at TWU, Dr. Coleman completed a research study on African American Male Cardiac Peer Support Volunteers.

Dr. Coleman is a heart surgery survivor and cardiac patient advocate. He is an expert on issues related to heart disease and the impact it has on fathers and their families. Dr. Coleman is the founder of Hearts And The Family, a resource organization focused on effective family functioning for families challenged with heart disease. Additionally, as the founder of the Mike Coleman Group, Dr. Coleman is dedicated to improving the professional, personal, and family lives of men and boys. Dr. Coleman is widely recognized as a subject matter expert on domestic violence, human trafficking, and human relations.    

In 2002, Coleman attended a seminar offered by the Professional Woman Network (PWN). The information offered was so powerful he decided to join PWN to gain a better understanding of the dynamics between men and women. Charles Michael Coleman is a PWN certified trainer on diversity, women’s wellness, and professional presentation skills. Coleman has authored eight books with PWN publishing.

Dr. Coleman currently resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife Robin and their two sons Joshua Ryan and Conner Michael.
