Dr. Cassandra Shaw
Dr. Sandi Shaw has been involved in many things over her life and career, but she especially loves the times she shared with her mom. Sandi is a daughter whose mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2010 and passed away in 2017. They both lived with dementia but in different ways. Her mom’s journey impacted her life differently than it did Sandi’s life. She went through this with her mom and now wants to help others on their journey. On behalf of her mom, Sandi brings awareness to others about dementia – what it is, how your loved one may be affected, and how you, as a caregiver, may be impacted.
Dr. Shaw is trained in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology and as a Certified Professional Coach. Sandi is a wellness coach and has a blog titled, Live Well and Enjoy Life, which is dedicated to helping professional women live a balanced life. She enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, the Tour de France, and football!
Dr. Shaw is a graduate of Florida State University (BS), University of Phoenix (MA), and Capella University (Ph.D.), where she earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
