David V. Gaggin

David V. Gaggin has ventured on a lifelong pursuit of mankind's most fundamental questions: Who are we? Why are we here? Is there a God? And how should we live our lives?

A very detailed, technical person by nature, he has a BS from St. Lawrence University, a BS in electrical engineering from Penn State University, and a Master's in electrical engineering from Villanova University. Gaggin spent seventeen years as a design engineer and technical manager at Boeing, where he was responsible for designing automatic flight control and avionics systems.

After Boeing, he spent nine years as a senior executive with the US Army directing avionics and command and control RandD. During this period he also directed joint Army/NASA laboratories at Langley and Ames and was the US Army's representative on the NATO Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development. Gaggin then went on to create Cobham Defense Electronics Systems, the world's leading military radar microwave subsystem company.
