The Note was published in 2001, the year of terrorist attacks on the United States, is about someone on a plane about to crash writing a note to a child. Eerily similar to what happened on September 11, 2001, as victims on the planes and in the buildings tried to contact loved ones, "The Note" stars Genie Frances playing the lead in this Hallmark Channel movie.

The Note, is a delightful and heart-warming show. A plane crashed and killed everyone on board, but before it went down one of the passengers scribbled a note to his adult child, but only signed it using a pet name. The reporter, played by Genie Frances, went on a hunt to find who the note was meant for. This was a holiday movie about how this note changed the lives of many of the surviving children from the crash.
