I love working with energy and we’ve done it for over 20 years!  But we acknowledge a dark side of this work!  It boils down to this, humans are designed to be their own guru, enlightened master, and leader!  When we make someone else or are attracted to someone else to “show us the way” we set ourselves up to be scammed, deceived and tricked by others with motives that are not so good.  Of course the worst is those who deceive themselves with the belief that they are helping you, on your behalf!
