A Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with sub-specialty certification in Psychosomatic Medicine, Dr. Alicia Maher is passionate about helping others to understand the exciting developments made in treating ADD/ADHD. But like so many of us, Dr. Alicia Maher had spent her young life struggling with her own short attention span and was often was at the mercy of her impulses. She had been thrown out of classes for disruptive behavior and had social behavioral problems, but it wasn't until her first year studying psychiatry as an intern that the doctors she was attending called an intervention and diagnosed her with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD.
