Reverand Michael Ingersoll


Rev. Michael Ingersoll has been involved in Interfaith and New Thought spirituality for over two decades. An ordained Minister, Spiritual Counselor, and longtime student of world religions, Michael currently is a Minister and Director of Development & Communications at the Center for Spiritual Living in Seattle. He recently returned to the Northwest from New York City where he was the Managing Director of One Spirit Learning Alliance, a leading Interfaith educational center and professional training program for Interfaith ministry. In 2001, Michael co-founded Sacred Center for Spiritual Living, one of the fastest growing church and worship communities in New York.

Michael has been actively involved in both the east and west coasts in a wide range of social and spiritual organizations and issues including Interfaith dialogue and bridges of understanding, HIV/AIDS, mental health, diversity, and quality of life concerns for individuals and families at risk. Post 9/11, Michael was among the first clergy to participate as a chaplain with Disaster Chaplaincy Services, the new certification program for first response clergy serving the City of New York. Michael also served as a Spiritual Counselor for the CERT Emergency Response Program in the ground zero community of lower Manhattan. Michael was honored by Lifetime Television Network and received their national Community In Service award for his national awareness campaign on domestic violence.

Michael's commitment to service spans many years and has been demonstrated through his participation in a wide range of organizations, conferences and community projects in New York and the Northwest. He was a part of the founding community of Bailey Boushay House, Lyon Building and other AIDS Housing of Washington projects, as well as actively serving on a number of organizational and community boards, including Multifaith AIDS Projects and Multifaith Works, People of Color Against Aids Network, Def Dance Jam Workshop, and Live Out Loud. He has partnered with a number of Americas leading spiritual teachers and speakers including Marianne Williamson, Andrew Harvey, Matthew Fox, Wisdom University, Dr. Larry Dossey, Iyanla Vanzant, and others.
