Former Massachusetts Assistant Secretary of State Eleanor LeCain is a speaker and consultant on breakthrough solutions and leadership, showing citizens and government leaders the transformational programs, people and principles that can improve results, save money and help build a new world. Eleanor is the author of a new book, Breakthrough Solutions: How to Improve Your Life and Change the World by Building on What Works, with an introduction by the Dalai Lama. Eleanor is the founder and president of The Breakthrough Way, which helps people and organizations identify, communicate and build on what works. She speaks and consults for organizations, individuals and governments on creating breakthrough solutions and cultivating leadership, from Harvard to Japan, Norway, Malaysia and beyond. For many years, Eleanor served on the board of Women's Action for New Directions, a network of legislators and citizens committed to positive social change. She offers seminars on women and leadership to women around the world, from the United States to Afghanistan.
